Girls and socio-economically advantaged students get better marks

Disadvantages of mixed-sex education

Girls are more likely to receive better marks than boys in most countries even when they have similar reading performance and learning habits. This means (attending to a gender point of view) that girls get better marks for just being girls. It affects teachers evaluation and boys suffer the consequences for being just boys.

Here is another reason to attend the gender differences and to defend single-sex education.
