An EASSE’s school participates at the American Association of Girls' Schools Conference

From 22 to 24 June, Teresa Martinez, Vice-President of  EASSE and  Principal at La Vall and, Roser Farrús,  High School director and Inma Balcells, Professor of Technology participated in the 2015 NCGS Conference.

La Vall school from Barcelona (Spain), member of  EASSE, participated giving workshops and sharing experiences to explore questions inspired by the topic "From STEM to STEAM” at the National Coalition of Girls Schools Conference at St. Catherine's School in Richmond, Virginia.

 

La Vall school has presented two experiences deeply rooted in the school curriculum:

1. " Which are the effects of introducing robotics in the classroom female in a single -sex school? ".

2. Workshop: " Using Robots Robotics to Teach Something More Than ".

 

550 educators and advocates of girls gathered for the Conference.

Just as the passionate educators and advocates gathered in Richmond dove into their investigation about engaging girls in the study of science, math, engineering, arts, and technology.
